O álbum 'perdido' de Donna Summer , I'm A Rainbow , foi remodelado e remixado em algo novo e será relançado ainda este ano em CD e vinil colorido 2LP.

O álbum foi originalmente produzido por Giorgio Moroder e Pete Bellotte em 1981, mas foi retirado das agendas de lançamento no mesmo ano. A gravadora, talvez de olho nas mudanças no cenário musical da época, aparentemente estava atrás de algo mais influenciado pelo R&B.

'I Believe In You [Figo Sound Version]' é um dueto com Joe 'Bean' Eposito

Quinze anos depois, em meados dos anos 90, o álbum acabou sendo lançado como um CD de 18 faixas, embora tenha entrado e saído com pouca fanfarra. Esta versão original foi revivida nos últimos anos, veja bem, e fez parte do box do Encore do ano passado .

Agora, 40 anos após as sessões originais I'm A Rainbow terem sido reaproveitadas - editadas, remixadas e reembaladas no que é apelidado de edição 'Recovered & Recoloured'.

I'm A Rainbow: Recovered & Recoloured será lançado em CD e esta prensagem de vinil transparente 2LP (clique na imagem para ampliar)

O álbum agora é um caso conciso, de 10 faixas e cada música foi 're-imaginada' por alguns produtores / remixers de grande nome, como Junior Vasquez, Le Flex, Figo Sound, Jean Tonique, Ladies On Mars e Oliver Nelson. O vinil duplo na verdade oferece cinco remixes bônus e em uma atualização a SDE pode confirmar que eles estão de fato no CD (o rótulo forneceu informações incorretas).

I'm A Rainbow será lançado em 8 de outubro de 2021 em CD e vinil transparente 2LP e apresenta uma nova arte vibrante.
